Meet your dentists

Jeffrey S. Trammell, DDS

Dr. Jeffrey Trammell is concerned not only about oral health, but also diet and fitness and how these aspects of a person’s life can positively affect oral health. Dr. Trammell is a lifelong resident of Yakima, WA, and likes to give back to the community he grew up in by participating in dental health education in community preschool, kindergarten, and elementary schools.

Dr. Trammell also participates in dental mission trips to Haiti and provides volunteer dentistry to military Veterans and the Union Gospel Mission. Dr. Trammell earned his DDS at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.

Christopher P. Trammell, DDS

Dr. Chris Trammell has advanced training in Invisalign, crafting beautiful smiles using the latest technology for smile improvement. He enjoys all aspects of patient care, but is particularly excited when patients see their new smile for the first time and the confidence that comes with it.

When not at Chalet Dental, Dr. Trammell can be found volunteering at the local Union Gospel Mission Dental Clinic helping underserved people with their dental issues. He has traveled as far as Africa, Mexico, Bolivia, and Northern Ireland to provide care to underprivileged adults and children. More recently, he made consecutive trips with his family to work at Hospital Loma De Luz in Honduras providing dental care to those in need.

Outside of dentistry, you might find Dr. Trammell outdoors. He has a passion for traveling, camping, hiking, and skiing with his family in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Dr. Trammell earned his DDS at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.

Timothy G. Gutmann, DDS

Continuing education is paramount in success as a dentist and has led Dr. Gutmann to invest his time learning advanced techniques such as implants, endodontics, oral pathology, and oral surgery.

As a graduate of the Kois Institute Treatment Planning Course, Dr. Gutmann is able to tailor complex plans that meet a patient’s unique needs. Dr. Gutmann also sees the importance of being a member of our local community.

He is the past president of the Yakima Valley Dental Society and has volunteered his dental services to The Union Gospel Mission, Yakima City Fest, and Give Kids a Smile Day. Dr. Gutmann is a graduate of the University of Washington in 2004.

When Dr. Gutmann is not focused on dentistry you will likely find him in the great outdoors or enjoying his family playing volleyball and rodeo.

Ross D. Austin, DDS

Involvement in the community is paramount to Dr. Ross Austin. He is the past President of the Yakima Valley Dental Society and a past board member of EPIC. Dr. Austin also gives back by educating students at the Yakima Covenant Church preschool and St. Paul’s Cathedral School.

He is a volunteer dentist at the Union Gospel Mission and has volunteered throughout Montana, including Helena and Bozeman, and the Montana Big Brothers Big Sisters. Dr. Austin earned his DDS at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.

Jessica Bremerman, DDS

Born and raised in the valley, Dr. Jess Bremerman is an enrolled tribal member of the Yakama Nation and a passionate advocate for the oral health of her community. With 14 years of experience as a public health dentist, she has dedicated much of her career to serving minorities and underserved populations in the Yakima area.

She mentors students, organizes health fairs, and engages in community outreach, demonstrating her commitment to making a difference. A 2010 graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry, Dr. Bremerman also holds undergraduate degrees in biochemistry and american indian studies from UW.

For ten years, she was a faculty member for the Northwest Dental Residency and an affiliate faculty member for the UW RIDE program. Her leadership includes serving on the executive committee of the Yakima Valley Dental Society (2011-2014) and being a board member of the Society of American Indian Dentists (2015-2022).

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Bremerman enjoys cheering on her three boys at basketball games alongside her high school sweetheart.
